We use a good number of the larger white boards (mounted on a frame on wheels) here at our primary school. The mobility allows us to cope with any location that we may have to use within the school for our phonics and general teaching requirements. The boards are physically strong and well-built while being ideally suited to all ages by holding attention for good sized groups really well. They are a tremendously useful tool for our teaching staff and the icing on the cake, is that Youngstart are very responsive and very helpful. 10 out of 10 from this school.

We recently purchased an A Frame Easel. It was easy to assemble, the storage at the bottom is ideal, it is light weight therefore easy to manoeuvre around the classroom and the size of the whiteboard is excellent.

I am really pleased with the quality of the product.

As a science teacher it is important to be flexible in the classroom. Although I have my mobile easel mainly located at the front of the room, I am able to move it around when I am demonstrating or the pupils are doing experiments. The product is light, easy to move and takes up little space. We have ordered many more for the different departments around the building. An excellently constructed product from a great British company.

“We love our new whiteboard easels. The ability to alter the height of the board means it is great for all different ages of children and we particularly like the actual sizing of the board itself as it is a good width, allowing for more writing to be done on the board. We also love the resource trays! Our teachers use these for a variety of reasons from storing whiteboard pens, to on hand maths resources, on hand literacy resources and even extension activities for individual sessions. It allows all our teachers to be well prepared and ready for all eventualities. The fact that the boards are on smooth castors means that work completed in whole class teaching can be easily ‘moved’ to be near a certain group when completing their work. Teachers like the fact that the board is magnetic and can easily be used to display small posters or children’s work. Compared to our old traditional, basic, tall and thin whiteboards these new ones are a great improvement so we have purchased them for every class. We would recommend them to anyone.”

Dorchester Primary School

We have bought several mobile A frame easels mainly to be used in literacy lessons. They are perfect for the Talk for Writing work we do in school. I can hang flip chart paper on them and produce story maps, shared pieces of writing and word banks. The easels are light and easy to move around: ideal for my already very full classroom. The feature I appreciate most about the easel is that I can adjust the height. I don’t have to be slightly stooped to write a paragraph on flip chart paper any more and the children towards the back of the class can see easily without having their line of sight blocked. Does its job superbly!
